it arrived at 5:21pm
Naturally as I was leaving work, my radio was being delivered. I’ve unpacked it and it’s charging right now. It’s so small! I want to start tuning into the repeaters right now, but I’m at work and I must behave.
Dinner last night was stellar. Sushi Samba:Rio is quite fantastic and we really had some wonderful food. Some people had exotic maki, some had the churascurro platter. The best were the tiny sawagani, which are river crabs about the size of a quarter. They fry them whole and you pop the complete critter in your mouth and crunch it down. Delish!
The radio is staring at me. I think it’s laughing.
