video: the flat tire*

After the radio show on Sunday night, we went outside to find a FLAT TIRE on Amy’s truck. Super homo to the rescue! I changed a tire. How butch.

Love your shows, why do you quit Aikido? By the way, I could teach you Chinese, may be in exchange of you teaching me DJing??

Hi Dick. Thanks for listening and watching! I quit Aikido because I didn’t have the time. If my dojo offered classes in the morning, I would have totally kept going. But the classes were only at night, when I am busiest. And now I go to the gym in the mornings, so Aikido is pretty much out of my life. I loved it when I was doing it, but I don’t miss it too much.

Do you currently teach Chinese? I’m not sure I’d be a good teacher to teach someone how to DJ, but the best way to learn is to listen and watch as many different DJs as you can. Everyone does it differently, and I’m constantly learning from everyone I see.

    The learning never stops.

What kind of camera did you use? Was it a cell phone? Just wondering :-)

    Hey there Peter,

So I found your podcasts through your call in on Yeast Radio - love your format with the music and speak. LOL - dig the shower podcast. As you can tell, I downloaded your previous podcasts and have been catching up. Great job with the show. I have a couple of friends in Chicago and hope to visit sometime. And of course, if and when I’m there, I’ll come to Spin to check out your spinning. Well for now, thanks for a cool show to listen to and I’ll keep it listening. Like the hair by the way.

    -Felipe

Felipe! Thanks so much for the nice comments, and I plan to do another shower show VERY soon (maybe with the camera…). I had such a blast on the Yeast Radio show, I still can’t believe that whole thing happened. Definitely give me a shout when you’re in Chi.
