What a night.
After failing to properly capture one interview, Amy and I did another great one with Ripley Caine who is having a CD release party on July 1st at Martyrs which is at 3855 N. Lincoln here in Chi. Party begins at 9:30pm. I will hopefully be up in there to support my grrrrl.
And then a gem of a person, miss Wanda Wisdom, granted me a delicious interview. I felt, after the first minute, like I was chatting with an old friend. We had some really deep conversation before the interview even began, but it was nice to connect. And Wanda helped me with my setup! So now I’m 100% ready for anything.
Damn I love the internets. Meeting people I’ve never met. It’s so fun.
Tomorrow morning I board a plane for NYC. I’m flying thru Detroit, but I don’t think I have to exit the plane. I plan to do a hell of a lot of work on my laptop because I’m a little backed up. Plus I just recorded the interviews and have to pare them down.
