humble
Last night I had the pleasure to attend Windy City Media Group’s “30 Under 30″ awards. I was an honoree, but I have to say I was humbled in front of such an active group of movers and shakers.
I’m proud of everything I’ve done in my life so far, but seeing how active the group was makes me understand how much more there is to do. The Queer community has so many challenges ahead of us, we really need to face them head on and do something about it.
And I will do something about it. Our podcast at WindyCityQueercast.com is all about having a voice and using it. I can’t wait until it gets started properly and we get rid of our radio show.
