After paying far too much to have my taxes done at the 11th hour, Uncle Sam is giving me almost $1k back. Nothing to laugh at. However, since I usually owe the state, this year I owe them a whopping:

Which is really $1.37 because I have to pay for the freakin’ stamp. Writing a check for $1 is far too mundane, but at least I didn’t have to hand over a large lump of money to Uncle Sammy.
This was also the first year I had to plan for all my expenses and include them in my business, which was something fairly new to me. Rent, electricity, gas, phone/internet, it all added up and was included. Going to be interesting to see what I can rack up this year.
