I am just catching up with my podcasts. Thank you for bringing up an issue that is very important but no one likes to talk about. Ageism in the gay community is so deeply entrenched that people do not even realize they are doing it. We all use the terms Twink, Troll, Sugar Daddy, or Chicken all the time and don't even think twice about it. I have a friend who sold his house to stay in a retirement home here in town, but ended up moving to another home in the Palm Springs area. He really didn't tell me why, but I am sure that it had something to do with being forced to go back into the closet at his age. He was lucky to have that option of moving to an area that is elderly-gay-friendly. So many older queer folks do not have that luxury. Excellent podcast, Peter.
